"The Drowned and the Saved", 27 March 2019 - Turin, Teatro Regio, Biennale Democrazia Festival

«It happened against all odds; it happened in Europe; [...] It happened, so it can happen again: this is the core of what we have to say. It can happen, and it can happen everywhere. [...] Violence, "useful" or "useless", is before our eyes: it winds, in occasional and private episodes, or as a state illegality [...] It only awaits the new histrion (there is no shortage of candidates ) that organizes it, legalizes it, declares it necessary and due and infects the world. [...] It is therefore necessary to refine our senses, beware of the prophets, of the spellcasters, of those who say and write "beautiful words" not supported by good reasons.»
